Modular practice rooms come in single-wall and double-wall constructions. The manufacturer states that single-wall models can be configured to NIC 45 and that double-wall models reach up to NIC 65.
Those are NIC figures, measured on the assembled room rather than on a panel in a laboratory, which makes them a fairer guide to what the room will feel like.
Prefabricated rooms go up without wet trades, so they can be built inside an occupied building, and they can be taken down and re-erected elsewhere.
Isolating the room from the building is a separate problem from tuning the sound inside it. A room that blocks well but is untreated internally is unpleasant to work in, so the interior treatment belongs in the same design.
A floating floor is needed when the source puts energy into the structure — a drum kit or a subwoofer — and is not a cosmetic option.
Ventilation and air conditioning have to be silenced, because the air path is the largest short circuit in any soundproof room.
Rooms needing confidentiality, such as interview or briefing rooms, can be specified with security-rated doors with tamper-proof hinges, and with RF shielding as an option.

If your project is a single room in a house, a shophouse or a condominium, and you are building or altering walls anyway, a materials-led build is far better value — that is something we also sell, and we are glad to advise on the layering and on where the sound will actually leak.
